The Who - Teachers
How do you support creativity in your students if you are not so sure of how it exists within yourself?
Embark on the road with your students. Teach each other. Recognizing creative characteristics and behaviors in your students will help you see them in yourself.
Research and best practice in the fields of creativity and gifted education are closely related. If you are lucky enough to work in a district that employs gifted education specialists, allow them to help you grow in your knowledge of creativity. Seek their consultation and push in services to support creativity in all your students. Encourage your district to target creativity in professional development offerings.
