About Dee - Experience
Dee’s creative career experience spans radio and TV broadcasting, advertising, art, photography and writing. For more than 20 years, Dee co-hosted the popular Rochester, NY radio show “Tony and Dee in the Morning.” You can catch Dee on television as the host of “My Hometown” a locally produced program about Rochester area shopping and attractions. On radio, Dee can be heard in Hamilton, Ontario and Toronto as host of “Cross Border Showcase” a weekly radio show that spotlights tourist events and destinations across New York State. Dee also records commercial and industrial voice overs.
Dee’s most meaningful and treasured experience is her family. She and her husband are parents of a daughter and a son, both now in college. Creativity is a fundamental force in family life, each member participating in a unique, personal way.
Many other experiences enrich Dee’s perspective. Among them: being a New York City native; living there for a formative quarter century; serving as a relief worker at Ground Zero after 9-11; engaging in the worldwide creativity community through her studies at the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY Buffalo State College; and watching the influence of creativity in her life, entertained by the effort to understand it, and riding the ebb and flow of creativity’s many positives and challenges.
